Richard-Armitage.org—A little site for fans with old computers or dial-up access.

NOTICE: If you have a fast(ish) computer and/or are on broadband, you will be better served visiting other fuller-featured fan sites like Richard Armitage Online, The Armitage Army, or Richard-Armitage.net.

If you're still here, it's probably because those other sites are too slow or sluggish on dial-up, or your old computer struggles with some of the newer features on the sites. Or perhaps you want to download some fan videos, but the videos on the other sites take too long to download, or your computer is too old and slow to play them properly.

If that's the case, you found the right place!

AREAS ON THIS SITE:

Simple little Photo Galleries. Some assorted photos of Mr. Armitage. (Best viewed with Netscape 6 or above.)

The Fan Video Collection. Some of the finest fan videos in this particular fandom are here, and made more accessible for fans stuck on old creaky computers or dial-up. If you ever felt left out because YouTube takes too long to load, and/or your computer is too crummy to play more modern video codecs, then you need not lament any longer. Better quality versions of these same videos can be found on our "sister" sites foolishpassion.org and RAFanVids.com.

Video Clip Collection. A few of the most favorite scenes from North & South, Robin Hood, Spooks, and other Armitage shows. No clips are more than 15 MB, and are in the backwards-compatible format MPEG-1.

Tech Corner. About the video clips, what software you need to view various video files, and other information (like how to make fan videos even if you're on an old computer or only have dial-up).

About This Site. An overview of the history and goals of this site. Pretty boring and geeky. Also includes contact info.
